Meet Nicole! The creative force behind Ordinary Made Beautiful. Raised in an environment where creativity thrived, she cultivated a deep love for design from a young age.
With a knack for transforming even the quirkiest of spaces into havens of warmth and comfort, Nicole's journey in interior design has been a labor of love. From humble beginnings in quirky rentals to the cherished sanctuary of her own home, she's honed her skills in creating spaces that speak to the heart.
At Ordinary Made Beautiful, Nicole's mission is clear: to infuse every project with intentionality, love, and a keen understanding of what truly makes a house a home. Through her expertise in blending beauty with functionality, she empowers her clients to embrace their spaces as reflections of their unique personalities and values.

Work
Nicole is passionate about creating meaningful interiors in residential homes for families to enjoy. She particularly loves working with older homes and preserving their unique character and history. She has a timeless and classic approach to design, blending vintage items with newer elements.
Nicole recognizes the importance of integrity, communication, and trust in her relationships with clients. As a result, she strives to make the design process easy and understandable by providing clear and concise steps and communication.

Education
Nicole has a diploma in interior design from The Institute of Interior Design. She formally studied interior design since 2021 and graduated from IDI March 2024. She has taken several workshops such as “colour theory” and “how to build an Instagram presence” and is currently taking an interior sketching course.
Nicole loves to learn and will continue advancing her knowledge through advance modules, audiobooks, workshops, reading materials, mentorship, and other recourses available to her.

Experience
While attending IDI Nicole worked consulting and staging for realtors as well as doing some freelance interior design work. Nicole has experience in decorating, styling, organizing, & designing nurseries and kids spaces. She began refinishing furniture in 2014 and has an abundance of knowledge creating different finishes. Nicole has two years experience creating 3D floor plans and renders using Mydoma software. She has familiarized herself with popular paint colours and finish’s and their applications. Nicole is well seasoned in creating visual concepts and presenting them well to clients.
